Today: 6-9PM @ Waterline - DT
Join us for a night celebrating our favorite format. We will take over the sound system at 6pm and be playing records brought in by anyone wishing to participate. School Kids Records will be setup from 6-9 offering a great variety of records featuring an R&B centric selection. So come, drink some great beer, have a great convo, buy your next favorite record, and enjoy the sound of your community’s favorite records spinning over the house system.

MC Sha-Rock Day Festival

SAT MAY 17: Noon - 7PM @ Live Oak Pavilion - DT
The MC Sha-Rock Day Festival will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Live Oak Bank Pavilion in Wilmington, North Carolina. This free, family-friendly event honors Wilmington native MC Sha-Rock, the first female MC in hip-hop history, and celebrates her groundbreaking contributions to the culture. Powered by the Commission on African-American History and the City of Wilmington, the festival will feature live performances, DJ sets, dance showcases, and community activities—uplifting hip-hop’s legacy and inspiring future generations.
