From Wilmington to Central Park? Tripodacus Could Be America’s Next Top Hitmaker

[WECT] Wilmington’s own alternative power trio, Tripodacus, is climbing the ranks in a nationwide music contest, America’s Next Top Hitmaker. The group—Chris Spratt, Jon Landau, and Mark Rudolph—is currently holding second place in their quarterfinal group. If they win, they’ll earn $50,000, a Rolling Stone feature, and a spot at the 2025 Global Citizen Festival in NYC. Voting is free, daily, and ends Thursday, July 17 at 10 p.m. ET.

Kid’s Open Gym on Wednesdays @ Wilmington Rock Gym!

Are you looking for something fun for your kids to do this summer? Bring them to the climbing gym! On Wednesdays, we'll have open gym time for them to climb and have fun! We'll have staff available each Wednesday to help them with the ropes if they want to climb higher. This isn't a class/camp but is a great way for children to join in the fun of indoor rock climbing! This is great for first time climbers and more advanced gym monkeys alike! Parents must stay with their kids.
