Good morning. Big week for Wilmington music fans.
Willie Nelson is bringing his legendary catalog to Live Oak Bank Pavilion on Tuesday, April 28 — tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. And if you prefer your rock on the Southern side, 38 Special just announced a Wilson Center date for May 22 as part of their 50th anniversary tour. Wilson Center member presale starts today at 10 a.m.; public on-sale is Friday.

Willie Nelson Bringing Legendary Country Show to Wilmington’s Live Oak Bank Pavilion
WWAY Country music legend Willie Nelson is headed to Wilmington for a one-night concert at Live Oak Bank Pavilion on April 28, with rising singer-songwriter Drayton Farley opening the show. Tickets go on sale March 20, giving local fans a chance to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member whose career spans more than seven decades, countless awards, and iconic events like Farm Aid and the Outlaw Music Festival Tour. Nelson continues to release new music and tour, keeping one of the most celebrated careers in American music alive.
38 Special Bringing Their "Milestone – 50 Year Legacy" Tour to the Wilson Center This May
WECT Southern rock icons 38 Special will perform at Cape Fear Community College's Wilson Center on Friday, May 22, at 7 p.m., as part of their "Milestone – 50 Year Legacy" Tour supporting their most recent studio album. Co-founder and frontman Don Barnes set the tone: "When you're reintroducing yourself to the world, 'good enough' doesn't work anymore. If you're gonna do it, you might as well go big." Tickets go on sale to Wilson Center members today, March 18, at 10 a.m. and to the general public Friday, March 20, at 10 a.m. $60.60+
