Awesome tributes this weekend plus Jelly Roll coming to Wilmington this summer at Live Oak Bank Pavilion. Tickets go on sale Friday — mark your calendar if you want in. Between high-energy homages to Queen and big-name shows headed downtown, the Port City music scene is heating up.

Jelly Roll Bringing National Tour to Live Oak Bank Pavilion

Port City Daily Fresh off three Grammy wins, Jelly Roll is bringing his national tour to Wilmington this summer. The genre-blending artist will perform at Live Oak Bank Pavilion on June 8, with tickets going on sale Friday, Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. Known for mixing Southern rock, hip-hop, and outlaw country, Jelly Roll recently won Grammys for Beautifully Broken, “Amen,” and “Hard Fought Hallelujah.” The show marks one of the biggest downtown concert announcements of the season.
