This weekend, Wilmington’s turning into the islands! From African Caribbean Vibe on Saturday to a full-on Jamaica Independence Day bash on Sunday, you can count on bold flavors, joyful rhythms, and plenty of dancing in the street. Grab your friends, wear your colors, and soak up the tropical vibes!

Tickets are on sale for the 12th Annual Taste of Wrightsville Beach, happening Nov. 1 under a large tent at Bluewater Waterfront Grill. Guests can sample from over 35 tasting booths offering local cuisine, beer, wine, and spirits, with both celebrity judges and attendees voting for favorites. New vendors join the mix this year, and all net proceeds benefit Weekend Meals on Wheels of New Hanover County. Tickets are $100 for adults and $25 for kids, with organizers expecting another sell-out after record-breaking early sales.
